Sashiko threads in 12 shades of genuine indigo blue. Hand dyed by ワタナベズ(watanabe’s) in Tokushima and manufactured by 糸六(Itoroku) in Kyoto, Japan. Please enjoy the high quality indigo hand sewing threads created through the collaboration between Itoroku and Watanabe’s.

- Dyed in Tokushima, Japan

✳︎ It comes as a set of 12 shades of color in a box. You cannot purchase separately.
✳︎ Approximately the same thickness as the thin sashiko thread from Daruma.

 

【Care instructions】
- This product is dyed by hand may have uneven colors.
- Colors may migrate due to heavy rubbing during use.
- Yellowish-brown pigment characteristic of Sukumo may appear during washing.
- Please store away from ultraviolet rays.

【About Watanabe’s】

We grow indigo leaves, make Sukumo (indigo dye), dye our indigo products in Kamiita-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, which is know as a production center of Sukumo. Our blue color produced by the “natural alkaline lye fermentation vatting method,” a traditional Japanese technique, is characterized by its deep and brilliant blue.
