【 About Aizen Koubou】
Aizen koubou is located in Nishijin (西陣) area in Kyoto, Japan. The area is most famous for their Nishijin-ori textiles, and the small alleyways and old Japanese houses observed throughout the district create a traditional atmosphere. Aizen koubou is located on one of those narrow alleyways. They are aiming to recreate more authentic sashiko threads, therefore their sashiko threads are softly twisted than mass-manufactured sashiko threads.

【How to handle the natural dyed threads】
Natural dyed threads require some attention and understanding of how to care.

- DO NOT USE BLEACH
- AVOID DIRECT SUNLIGHT WHEN STORING

It’s better to hand wash. The craftsman recommended me to wash with the dishwashing liquid. Enjoy the color aging over time.
