✳︎ Approximately the same thickness as the thin sashiko thread from Daruma.
- This product is dyed by hand may have uneven colors.
- Colors may migrate due to heavy rubbing during use.
- Yellowish-brown pigment characteristic of Sukumo may appear during washing.
- Please store away from ultraviolet rays.
【 About Itoroku 】
Itoroku is located near Muromachi street in Kyoto which is often called Kimono fabric street. Founded in 1871, a sixth-generation family-owned business, Itoroku has been the destination for sewing and handicraft lovers in Kyoto for over 150 years.
We grow indigo leaves, make Sukumo (indigo dye), dye our indigo products in Kamiita-cho, Tokushima Prefecture, which is know as a production center of Sukumo. Our blue color produced by the “natural alkaline lye fermentation vatting method,” a traditional Japanese technique, is characterized by its deep and brilliant blue.
